we are extremely excited to announce our second double disk compilation retrospect on mood series! in 2020 and 2021, greyscale was full steam ahead on bringing new music to the cherished discography. in fact, in 2020, greyscale released over 20 eps just on the mood series itself! something we are very proud of and we wish to thank all the artists who have been involved up to this point. a hearty thank you from all at greyscale! as 2021 came we wanted to balance that out with a few retrospectives of the journey. and also, to revisit the cd format which we really enjoy doing compilations on. this installment looks back at mood series 21 thru 40 with a track from each ep! we hope this encourages you to check back with each original ep if you may have missed it and also to revisit some of your favorites. we would like to thank our supporters for being there to share the enjoyment and the excitement in what we are doing. your feedback has been tremendous and we want you to know we have many exciting and new projects coming (including some different ideas we are trying for the first time!).

one of the most referenced producers of the last year and one of the most influential producers on the scene: mk aka marc kinchen presents a sublime collection of his work, much of which has been previously unavailable digitally, on this latest volume in the house masters series. during the halcyon period of house music in the early 90s, marc kinchen became one of the genres most respected producers and in-demand remixers. starting out at an incredibly young age in detroit as a protŽgŽ of techno god kevin saunderson before later moving to new york, he fast became a prolific figure in the dance music community. here twenty of his most influential of recordings are collected and made available completely unedited, unmixed and dj friendly for the very first time. this package includes 9 tracks that have never been made available digitally.

its a love story: stil vor talent have long been mad about niconŽ and sascha braemer so that the recent past has seen some very memorable releases by the two producers. now its about time they join forces to release a whole album together. while sascha braemer only recently caused waves with his Ÿber-track people, nicone is a long-established pillar of top-class electronic music.

2011 collection featuring cuts from shuggie otis, sly & the family stone and aretha franklin.. the old grey whistle test has now been synonymous with quality music for 40 years. although possibly best know as a show for rock music, the show maintained an amazing variety when it came to choosing its artists, it really only had two criteria, 1, that the artists had released an album and 2 that they produced great music. this collection mostly features artists that appeared on the show but also include artists who for whatever reason didnt or couldnt appear on the show.
